Took my first trip to Oregon since graduating from college there 7 years ago. I really miss it. What a beautiful state.

Doritos New Flavour Contest

Nope the headline isn't spelled wrong. It's how they spell "flavor" in Canada (or in English, as my Canadian friends like to say). We put this spot together in about a week with some help from Sean Turrell and Circle Productions in Toronto and entered it into the Doritos new flavour contest. Alas, we didn't make it into the final round. You can visit their site and decide for yourself how we stack up against the top 5.

Green River

The Chicago Plumbers Union calls the annual dyeing of the river a miracle, not unlike the parting of the Red Sea. Late happy St. Patrick's day!

I submitted 3 photos to the Quiet Life Camera Club (you should too!) and they put this one in their gallery. It was taken from the windows of Cité in Lake Point Tower while some fog was rolling off of Lake Michigan. My wife's sister threw her a wedding shower there last year. Speaking of my wife, Kim, — she has two photos in the last book published by the Camera Club.
